What we're hearing on the Bills:QBJosh Allenwill look to continue his historic commanding performances against the Dolphins. In 15 games with Allen starting against Miami, the Bills have averaged 32.5 points per game, the fifth-highest team mark by a starting QB against a single opponent in the Super Bowl Era (since 1966). This is also a prime game for Allen to score another rushing touchdown (has had two in each of the past two games) as Miami has allowed four rushing touchdowns to QBs, second most in the league. -- Alaina Getzenberg

What we're hearing on the Dolphins:QBTua Tagovailoatook responsibility for his play this season -- which he said falls well below the standard he has set in previous seasons -- but, when asked, he stopped short of saying he's playing for his job. Coach Mike McDaniel said earlier this week that the team is "certain" Tagovailoa is the best option against the Bills, but he left things relatively open-ended after this week: "We play the players that give us the best chance to win, and when that changes or if that changes or if somebody else gives us a better shot, then we adjust there." -- Marcel Louis-Jacques

With Buffalo coming off a huge win last week against the Kansas City Chiefs, playing on the road against a division opponent and laying well over a touchdown, it might appear that this could be a letdown spot for the Fighting Josh Allens.

But it's notthe Bills enter Week 10 staring up at the New England Patriots in the division, and the dreadful Dolphins were just waxed in Miami by the Ravens. As fun as his press conferences may be, this is going to be the lopsided loss that gets Mike McDaniel shown the door.

O'Donnell: Dolphins (+9.5)

Tua Tagovailoa's struggles against the Bills are known it is hard to hide from a1-9 recordand 11 TD-11 INT line against a division foe. Tua has fared better in Miami than in Buffalo, though also no secret and the Bills just spent a ton of energy defeating perennial playoff foil Kansas City a week ago. This has the makings of a letdown.

Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel got what, I guess, we can considera vote of confidencefor job security recently, and the team didn't go full Jets-level fire sale at the trade deadline, either. I'll take these points in hopes of an inspired effort or backdoor cover.

The franchise owns a 16-2 record against Miami since the head coach arrived in 2017, having logged the most recent win a couple months ago in Buffalo.That Thursday night gamewas surprisingly competitive, but it's hard to envision a tight contest this time around, given the respective states of these two teams.
