Atlanta is adding depth to its offensive line after recent injuries to the position group.

FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. The Atlanta Falcons signed offensive lineman Andrew Stueber and released kicker Parker Romo, the team announced Tuesday.

NFL Network's Mike Garafolowas first to report the Romo release. He also reported the Falcons aresigning kicker Zane Gonzalez. However, the team has not officially announced the latter.

The Falcons also announced Tuesday they released kicker Ben Sauls from the practice squad and signed long snapper Zach Triner to it.

Stueber should be a semi-familiar face in Atlanta since he spent the 2024 preseason with the Falcons. He started all three exhibition games, the first at right guard and the other two at right tackle. He played every snap in the first game, 63% of snaps in the second game and 89% in the third. Stueber did not ultimately make the Falcons' initial roster and was later signed to the practice squad.

Stueber spent about a month on the Falcons' practice squad before the Cincinnati Bengals poached him for their active roster. There, he played in seven games, totaling five snaps on offense and 38 on special teams. He never drew a penalty.

Those games with the Bengals last season remain as the only ones on Stueber's resume.

Stueber was originally a seventh-round draft pick to the New England Patriots in 2022.

The Falcons could use more depth along the offensive line.

Starting right tackle Kaleb McGary wasplaced on season-ending injured reservedue to a leg injury before the season began. Elijah Wilkinson has filled that void ever since.

Starting left tackle Jake Matthews sustainedan ankle injuryin the Falcons' Week 6 win against the Buffalo Bills. He left the game just before halftime but returned in Week 7 and has not missed time since. Michael Jerrell stepped in at left tackle once Matthews exited.

Starting left guardMatthew Bergeronand right guardChris Lindstrominjured their ankle and foot, respectively, in last Sunday's Week 9 loss to the New England Patriots. Kyle Hinton took over Bergeron's spot. Lindstrom's departure wasn't clocked live.

Falcons head coach Raheem Morris didn't have an update Monday on Bergeron or Lindstrom. That will come as Week 10 progresses.

Stueber helps with depth regardless of their status. So, too, could Storm Norton, who wasdesignated to return from injured reserveback in Week 8. The Falcons have until next Wednesday to either move Norton to the active roster or place him on season-ending injured reserve. That'll mark 21 days since his return window opened on Oct. 22. He has been recovering from an ankle injury sustained in training camp.

"That's always a possibility of Storm coming back in," Morris said Monday. "You're talking about a guy who's played significant ball for us. But we'll have to see where Storm is. Obviously, he's still in that window, trying to make it back. Wish him nothing but the best. We'll see where he is, and we'll move forward from there."

The Falcons have the 15th-ranked run offense in the NFL, averaging 116.9 rushing yards per game. In their last three losses, though, the Falcons averaged 59.3 rushing yards per game. They haven't broken 100 yards on the ground since Week 6.

Atlanta will play the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday at Olympic Stadium in Berlin, Germany. The Colts have the No. 4 run defense in the league, allowing an average of 87 rushing yards per game.
