Rams agree to terms with LS Joe Cardona on two-year deal

WOODLAND HILLS, Calif. The Rams have agreed to terms with long snapper Joe Cardona on a two-year deal.

Cardona, 33, will be entering his 12th NFL season in 2026. He played his first 10 with the New England Patriots before signing a one-year deal with the Miami Dolphins last offseason.

A two-time Super Bowl champion, he has played in 177 career regular season games plus 13 playoff games in his first 11 seasons.

Cardona originally entered the league as a fifth-round draft pick (166th overall) by the Patriots out of Navy in 2015. Prior to that, he played collegiately at Navy from 2011-14. He was commissioned as a lieutenant in the Navy Reserve.
