Astros' Jose Altuve sets club record - Thursday 18th May, 2017

MIAMI -- Jose Altuve was already hot on the road coming into Wednesday's series finale at Marlins Park, leading the American League with a .373 batting average this season.

So it should have come as no surprise that Altuve became the first Astros player to hit two triples and two doubles in the same game. The second baseman delivered a run-scoring double in the first inning before slamming back-to-back triples in the third and fifth in the Astros' eventual 3-0 win over the Marlins. He completed the rare feat with a double in the ninth inning.

Two doubles and two triples in one game hasn't happened since 2005, and only 13 times ever. Oddly enough, Altuve is the first player to not score a run as part of the feat.
